Today (Dec17, 2011) the Kazakh Embassy in Germany sent out an Email with two attachments. The first was a translation of prosecutor general Askhat Daulbaev’s statement on the events in Zhanaozen, the second a translation of Nazarbaev’s comment on the “criminal acts”. I here post Nazarbaev’s comment which in my opinion is an act of political repression disguised as patrimonial care-taking.
